What data we process and why
Browsing data. The IT systems operating this website collect, during their normal operation, some technical data whose transmission is implicit in the use of the internet: IP addresses, access times, pages visited, browser type. This data is used solely to ensure the proper functioning and security of the website (legal basis: legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f GDPR) and is not used to identify users.
Data provided voluntarily. If you contact us through the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, email, message content) solely to reply to you (legal basis: art. 6.1.b GDPR). The contact form is provided by Typeform S.L. (Barcelona, Spain, EU), which processes submitted data as a data processor; Typeform's privacy notice: https://www.typeform.com/privacy-policy/. Data is not disclosed to third parties and is kept for the time needed to handle the request and any professional follow-up.
Traffic statistics (only with your consent). If you consent via the banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) for aggregate statistics on site usage. Without your consent, no data is sent to Google Analytics. Data transfers to the United States rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google adheres. Information on Google's processing: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Chat service. The website may host a chat service for assistance; messages sent through the chat are processed solely to reply to requests.
Cookies
This website uses: vitesse_consent (technical cookie, 180 days) which stores your consent choice; _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics, only with consent, up to 24 months) for aggregate site usage statistics.
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject statistics cookies: both choices are equivalent and the website works the same either way. You can change your mind at any time by deleting this site's cookies in your browser settings: the banner will be shown again on your next visit.
Retention
Browsing data is retained for the hosting provider's technical timeframes. Statistical data in Google Analytics is retained for 14 months. Contact request data is kept for as long as needed to handle it.
Your rights
You may exercise at any time the rights set out in artt. 15-22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability) by writing to d.evangelista@vitesseonline.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
